Our tour will take you to such majestic castles as Fougères, Vitré and Josselin which have withstood the feuds of the past to tell their tale. Wander with us round the medieval streets of Vannes and Rennes and savour the delights of a Breton market with wares to appeal to all the senses. Step back deeply into the past at Carnac and Locmariaquer where imagination conjures images of prehistoric man. See the ancient megalithic monuments and wonder at the ingenuity of ancient man who could dream of and create such majestic alignments.
Take the sea air on our boat trip to the Golfe of Morbihan which offers some of the most unusual Breton scenery. Visit the alluring island of Ile aux Moines which offers its guests delightful walks and views over the Golfe. The intrigues of Arthurian legend tempt us as we explore the Fôret de Paimpont in the area known as Brocéliande.
Our base at the Mercure hotel in Vannes will give stylish comfort to the Francophile who wishes to take time to appreciate the spirit of this truly inviting area.
